No ticket, it's compllitly free. Is noce and good for walking around.
The Villa of Maxentius was built by the Roman emperor Maxentius in the 4th century along the Appian Way, and includes his palace, mausoleum, and a circus (race track for chariots).
Entrance was free with donation at end if you wanted. Large place, signs let you know what you were looking at. Mausoleum you can walk in and the gigantic chariot racing circus ring. Worth going when nearby
Quite place where medieval Villa is located. It is on Via Appia Antica famous old Roman road. It is free entrance with other landmarks nearby. It was built by order of a roman Emperor Massenzio. Park closed on Mondays. Villa poses several sections.
Nice place on the Via Appia Antica. Free entrance.
We loved it! The entrance is free, and several signs explain the history of the place. The stadium and walls were really impressive. Great stop when visiting the catacombs.
The site is stunning. The horse track and the mausoleum of Romulus are visitable. The staff though is extremely rude.
I went for a guided tour led by an archeologist who is working, researching in these sites on behalf of the city and it was a very interesting tour although not very long.
